Fargo has been named a finalist in the Technology Company of the Year category at this year’s Multimodal 2026 Awards.

The recognition reflects Fargo’s continued evolution as an intermodal technology business focused on helping operators improve coordination across transport and terminal operations.

As supply chains become increasingly complex, operators face growing pressure to improve utilisation, responsiveness and operational visibility across road, rail and inland logistics networks. Fargo’s approach is designed to help businesses move beyond fragmented planning processes and disconnected systems, enabling a more aligned approach to intermodal operations.

Fargo combines transport planning and execution with terminal, gate and yard management capabilities, helping operators manage activity across multiple environments within a single platform.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Fargo’s Product Director, Dan Falvey, said:

“We’re proud to be recognised as finalists in this category at a time when the industry is placing greater focus on efficiency, responsiveness and operational coordination across intermodal networks.

“This recognition reflects the continued work of the Fargo team and our commitment to helping customers improve visibility, planning and decision-making across increasingly complex logistics environments.”

Alongside ongoing platform development, Fargo continues to expand its AI-assisted operational support capabilities, designed to help planners and traffic teams respond more effectively to live workflows.

Visitors to Multimodal 2026 can meet the Fargo team at stand 4000, where the business will showcase the latest developments across Fargo TOPS and Fargo TERM, as well as its broader vision for more coordinated intermodal operations.

The winners will be announced at the Multimodal Awards at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham on 30 June.
